Title: EMILY: Electro Magnetic Interference Ledger & registrY
Abstract: RFI is a growing challenge for radio astronomy, yet reporting remains heavily fragmented across observatories. EMILY, the Electro Magnetic Interference Ledger & registrY, provides a lightweight, privacy-preserving framework to standardize and share interference records without exposing sensitive data. By normalizing key parameters and enabling cross-site analytics, EMILY reveals trends in spectral occupancy and interference impact. We also present a customizable pipeline to extract RFI “incidents” from a range of standardized data products, enabling automated ingestion into EMILY from diverse instruments. Together, these tools support observation planning, interferer identification, and assessment of emerging spectrum users, offering a scalable path toward coordinated spectrum management.
