Virtual ALMA Tour

In the mountains of the Atacama Desert in Antofagasta, Chile, lies the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), a radio telescope co-operated and co-maintained by the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) of the United States, the European Southern Observatory (ESO), and the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ). Completed in 2012, ALMA has made a plethora of exciting and interesting discoveries.

Join us for a virtual tour to learn more about ALMA and the work that it does.

This virtual tour will take place on Saturday, January 30, 2021, 1-2 PM MST [Mountain Standard Time, UTC/GMT -7].

This event will take place on Zoom. Registration is required.
