Our Sun & Solar System

Our Sun is a star whose magnetic field lights its surface in radio waves around sunspots and flares. The planets in our Solar System are nearly unrecognizable when viewed in radio waves. Radio telescopes used as radar devices can map features on rocky planets and moons to a greater detail than optical telescopes.
