The Radio Sun: 2017 Solar Eclipse

In the inner and middle part of the Corona comes one of science's most compelling questions: Why does the sun’s temperature increase as you move away from its surface? Eclipse observations at the Karl Jansky Very Large Array could help us solve the mystery of why the corona is hotter than the sun’s surface.
