Staff from the U.S. National Science Foundation and U.S. Naval Observatory visited the ngVLA prototype and received a 3D model of the antenna.

Staff from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) and the U.S. Naval Observatory (USNO) went behind the scenes at the prototype antenna for the Next Generation Very Large Array (ngVLA). The prototype resides next to the NSF Very Large Array (NSF VLA).

The visit included a behind the scenes tour of an NSF Very Large Array (NSF VLA) antenna, along with NSF NRAO offices and labs, and an NSF Very Large Baseline Array antenna (NSF VLBA.)
