Very Large Array – Star Party
April 25 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm MDT

Please join us at the Very Large Array for an evening looking at the stars.
A star party is a gathering where amateur and professional astronomers set up telescopes for the public to view celestial objects and learn about the night sky, often in locations away from light pollution. Star parties are designed to foster a love of astronomy and provide an opportunity for people to explore the wonders of the night sky.
Participants can:
- Look at planets, nebulae, stars, and other celestial objects through telescopes.
- Learn about astronomy from experienced astronomers.
- Try out different types of telescopes.
- Socialize with other astronomy enthusiasts
We will have 8-10 optical telescopes set up and you may also bring your own!
Admission is free, but advance entry tickets are required to help us control the flow of parking as best we can.
