Question:

My name is Sujitha, and I’m from India. I hope you are doing well.I would like to get some suggestions for my further studies. I aspire to become a radio astronomer. I’m currently studying in 10th grade and would like to know which group I should be taking exactly. It would be nice of you to also suggest to me a few courses and colleges where I can pursue my studies. It would also be of great help if I could get to know about a radio astronomer’s education life.Thank you so much for your time and patience!

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory is a facility of the U.S. National Science Foundation operated under cooperative agreement by Associated Universities, Inc.
	Founded in 1956, the NRAO provides state-of-the-art radio telescope facilities for use by the international scientific community. NRAO telescopes are open to all astronomers regardless of institutional or national affiliation. Observing time on NRAO telescopes is available on a competitive basis to qualified scientists after evaluation of research proposals on the basis of scientific merit, the capability of the instruments to do the work, and the availability of the telescope during the requested time.
