Can the Event Horizon Telescope Take Pictures of Objects Other Than a Black Hole?

Question:
Can EHT be used to take pictures of not only black hole but also other sort of celestial bodies?
Answer:
The Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) uses a technique called Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) to make pictures at short radio wavelengths, including the recent picture or image of the black hole at the center of the galaxy M87. VLBI is a well-established observing technique that has been used for many decades to take pictures of a variety of astronomical objects, such as distant galaxies and sources of maser emission in our galaxy and other galaxies. The VLBI technique allows astronomers to study the very fine-scale structure in objects that otherwise are not detectable using other measurement techniques.
