Question:

Would instantaneous communications over any distance violate physical laws? I realize there is no such thing now but would there be any known laws against it? Can information be communicated faster than the speed of light?

-- David

Answer:

Yes.  The speed of light is a fundamental limit to the speed at which any communication signal can travel.  Nothing can travel faster than the speed of light.
