Historical Vernal Equinox and Sunset Calculations for Jerusalem

Hi,

Is there a way to find the vernal equinox for over the past 2000 years as well as the sunset times as they would have occurred in Jerusalem, Israel?

Answer:

For the historical Vernal Equinox calculation you can use the NASA Time and Date of Vernal Equinox calculation page. Just enter the date range and interval as instructed. This calculation is not specific to a particular place on the Earth’s surface, but should be accurate enough to be good to a day. For sunset, try the CalculatorSoup calculator, but I cannot attest to its accuracy for this calculator. It appears to be correct to within a few minutes.
