On the evening of May 21, 2020 asteroid 136795 (1997 BQ) will fly by Earth at a distance of about 0.04115 astronomical units, which is about 3.8 million miles. That distance is equivalent to about 16 times the distance from the Earth to the Moon, which is a very safe distance.
