Questions About a Career in Astronomy

-- Tanya | October 24, 2020

Question:

Hello! I have a few questions about an Astronomy career that i really hope you could answer, please and thank you!
#1 How many years of training would i need after earning my bachelor’s degree to become a full time astronomer?
#2 Is it true that your starting wage would be $52.00?
#3 What does an astronomer do on a daily basis? Do they spend all their time just researching and analyzing data about Stars, Asteroids, etc?
#4 Would 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, be enough time to work as an astronomer?
I REALLY hope you can answer these for me!
Thank You Very Much
