Question:

Full moon dating: if a calendar indicates that a full moon will occur on the “28th”, does that mean from moon rise on the 27th through the morning of the 28th or from the night of the 28th through the morning of the 29th? Thank you.

Answer:

When a calendar lists a full moon as occurring on a specific date, it actually means that it happens at some point on that date.  See the answer to a related question “How Long Does a Full Moon Last?” for further details on the duration of the full moon on a given date.
