VLASS Sees Planets
The images here show four planets as observed by VLASS during its all-sky survey. The high resolution of VLASS allows details to be seen in the planetary disks of Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. The “ears” either side of Jupiter are emission from areas of strong magnetic field.
